Your vault

You retain ownership of everything you place inside your Legacy Capsule. We act as custodians, not owners.

Acceptable use

You may not use Legacy Capsule to store anything unlawful, or to issue instructions that would require us to take an unlawful action.

The release flow

Our verified-release flow is operated through nominated human verifiers and an owner-override window. We are not a government death-certificate authority. We will be transparent with you and your beneficiaries about what we can verify.

Legal documents

Legacy Capsule provides secure storage and structured composition of your wishes, but typed wishes inside the app may not, on their own, constitute a legally executed will in your jurisdiction. We recommend a properly witnessed legal will where required.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
